History of the Ettelbruck Agricultural Fair (FAE)

Ever since the testing laboratories of the Administration des Services Techniques de l’Agriculture and the Lycée Technique Agricole were set up in Ettelbruck, the town has been considered Luxembourg’s “Agricultural City”. The first agricultural exhibition was opened in the presence of King Wilhelm III and Queen Emma. Since then, the fair has been held regularly, with a number of milestones:

40 years of Foire Agricole: The FAE adventure continues with a new record of visitors: 45698 visitors.

Producers’ Village with showcooking broadcasted on FAE TV, CONVIS – 100 years of genealogical bookkeeping, 101 years of the “Lëtzebuerger Ardenner Studbook”.

the hybrid FAE takes place on the Däich site with a limited number of visitors. A digital program is broadcast by various media.

due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the FAE is held in a digital version. The program is broadcast via social media, FAE TV, Post TV and RTL.lu
