Ever since the testing laboratories of the Administration des Services Techniques de l’Agriculture and the LycĂ©e Technique Agricole were set up in Ettelbruck, the town has been considered Luxembourg’s “Agricultural City”. The first agricultural exhibition was opened in the presence of King Wilhelm III and Queen Emma. Since then, the fair has been held regularly, with a number of milestones:

40 years of Foire Agricole: The FAE adventure continues with a new record of visitors: 45698 visitors.
Producers’ Village with showcooking broadcasted on FAE TV, CONVIS – 100 years of genealogical bookkeeping, 101 years of the âLĂ«tzebuerger Ardenner Studbookâ.

the hybrid FAE takes place on the DĂ€ich site with a limited number of visitors. A digital program is broadcast by various media.

due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the FAE is held in a digital version. The program is broadcast via social media, FAE TV, Post TV and RTL.lu

For many years now, the town of Ettelbruck has been organizing the FAE agricultural fair, the showcase of Luxembourg agriculture and the largest open-air fair in Luxembourg.
FAE has become the essential meeting place for all professionals in the green sector (farmers, foresters, horticulturists, etc.), trade and scientific research in agri-biotechnology. Particular emphasis is placed on showcasing Luxembourg products and raising consumer awareness of regional products.
